Tennis Cap Guide
Choose a tennis cap around your serve, movement and preferred brim. A familiar fit matters more than a model name printed with a particular sport.
Clear view. Comfortable fit.
Check your service motion
Try the cap while following your usual ball-toss direction with your eyes. Your brim should not make you alter the way you naturally look up. Check it again when you turn and bend into a ready position. A stable closure and a comfortable crown work together; one cannot fully compensate for the other.
Compare Pro CapsThink beyond the first few minutes
A cap can feel different as the sweatband becomes damp. Check pressure around the forehead and avoid leaving a damp cap closed in a bag after practice. If you rotate between tennis and other activities, choose a shape you enjoy across those routines and build a simple care habit.

Focus combines a curved performance brim, strap adjustment and reinforced sweatband. It is an option for tennis as well as running if you prefer its technical appearance and fit.

Pulse gives you a classic baseball direction, Flow a more pronounced front and Motion a flat-brim look. White, navy and red offer a traditional sporting palette, but colour is a styling choice rather than proof of performance. The right silhouette should feel like part of your kit, not something you constantly adjust.
After your session
Keep your post-session routine simple. At Blackskies, we rinse Flow, Motion, Pulse and Aero thoroughly inside and out with clean water after sport, then leave them to air dry. Easy to clean, quick to dry and ready for your next active day.
Allow water to drain and leave the cap to air dry with its shape supported. Drying depends on conditions. For Originals or Family caps, use the material-specific advice rather than applying this Pro routine automatically.
Is a curved brim required for tennis?
No. Many players prefer a curved brim, but the relevant question is how your own brim affects comfort and sightline. Motion provides a flat-brim direction; compare it during the movements you make on court.
Can I use the same cap for running and tennis?
Yes. Pro lines are sport-versatile. Check the cap during both activities: a running fit test involves repeated movement, while tennis also calls for looking up through your service motion. Choose the construction that works comfortably for you.
Does a water-repellent cap keep the sweatband dry?
Not necessarily. The outer finish and the sweatband have different jobs. The sweatband is in contact with your skin and can become damp during play even when the outside looks dry. Let it dry fully after care and before storage.
What if my head is outside the Pro size range?
The confirmed range is 55–61 cm. Do not rely on forcing the closure or stretching the cap to fit outside that range. Check the size guide and contact us with your measurement and the model you are considering.
